Spring in the Ozarks means blooming dogwoods, traveling guests, a new season of shows, and lots and lots of rain showers. While we all can appreciate the after effects of it (the beautiful flowers and full lakes and natural waterfalls) it leaves little to do for activities around town.
So you had a fun day filled with outdoor plans what to do now? Don’t let the rain keep you inside. Head on over to the Branson Mill Craft Village where you can be entertained for hours.
Inside the 40,000 square foot Craft Village you will find that it is not your typical “Branson craft mall” but instead, a whole other type of shopping experience. At the Branson Mill Craft Village you will find some form of entertainment around every corner. Most of the shops have demonstrator’s onsite creating one of a kind, handmade pieces. Each shop within the Mill is uniquely different, offering a one of a kind experience to each and every guest.
Here are just some of the things you will see on your rainy day adventure to the Branson Mill Craft Village.
1) Amy Callaway, water colorist at Amy’s Art. Amy paints on canvas as well as gourds, creating beautiful works of art before your eyes. It will amaze you to watch the way she works the brush with such ease. Her booth is filled with a collection of her paintings that you can purchase as well.
2) Rattlesnake Eddie, at Crooked Sky Trading Post. This store is just fun to say! When you walk into the Mill you can’t miss it, as it is wonderfully decorated and located centrally within the Mill. Rattlesnake Eddie creates custom leather items. You name it…guitar straps, leather holsters, belts, jewelry he can do it all!
3) The Made In The USA General Store is another place to visit in the Branson Mill. This store alone is 5,000 square feet of memory lane. In The USA General Store, you can expect to see everything you would in an old fashioned general store…and more. This store prides itself on the fact that every single thing in the store is truly made in the USA.
There are so many more great stores within the Branson Mill that you are just going to have come and see for yourself. Our demonstrators are always creating something new and would love to meet you and let you take a peek. So, no matter what the weather holds for your vacation, the Branson Mill Craft Village is always a fun place to stop in and visit while you are here. See ya soon!
